Golang Engineer - (25060901) at Third Eye Software. We’re looking for a . Golang Engineer . to join a remote-first platform team building backend APIs that power scalable, high-impact systems. This is a . W2 contract, fully remote role paying $55-$65/hr. . There is potential for long-term growth and additional opportunities, based on performance and business needs.. 4+ years of backend software engineering experience, ideally in a large-scale enterprise environment . . 2+ years of hands-on expertise with . Golang. , particularly in: . building scalable, production-grade APIs. , . HTTP services and JSON processing, error handling and interface design, concurrency and goroutines. . . Comfortable working from an API spec and translating contracts into maintainable, well-structured code . . Experience in cloud-native environments, ideally . Google Cloud Platform (GCP). . . Familiarity with . Cloud Run. and . GKE. . . Exposure to service-level monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, SLOs/SLIs, error tracking) . . Strong grasp of backend system architecture and modern development best practices . . Self-starter mindset - takes initiative, asks smart questions, and keeps momentum even when facing blockers . . Effective communicator who works well on remote teams and contributes positively to team culture. . . Nice-to-Have. Familiarity with .
