Product Manager at AvantStay. Who we are. AvantStay delivers world class, authentic, tech-enabled short-term rental (“STR”) group experiences targeted at the millennial generation. We are venture funded and growing rapidly in the explosive $100+ billion dollar STR industry. We deliver a customized end-to-end experience that is tailored just for groups and powered with technology at every layer. . What we are looking for. We’re seeking a Product Manager who thrives on full accountability and ownership of a problem space. This is not a strategy-only role — you’ll be in the details: interviewing users, pulling your own SQL queries, prototyping with AI/no-code tools, and working hand-in-hand with design, engineering, and operations to deliver measurable outcomes. You will be both architect and builder, driving solutions that balance customer value with operational scalability. If you’re scrappy, data-driven, and excited to shape the future of travel, this role is for you.. What you'll do. . Own a problem end-to-end. Take accountability for understanding the user, mapping pain points, and delivering solutions that materially improve conversion, retention, or efficiency.. . Talk to users, build prototypes. Interview customers, synthesize insights, and create quick prototypes using AI/no-code tools (Cursor, v0, Bolt, Webflow, Figma) to validate ideas before handing off to engineering.. . Get into the data. Write SQL queries and partner with Data to run analyses, track KPIs, build dashboards, and inform product decisions with evidence.. . Drive rapid experimentation. Run iterative tests (A/B, multivariate) with clear hypotheses, success metrics, and learnings — moving fast while maintaining rigor.. . Collaborate cross-functionally. Work closely with Design, Engineering, Marketing, Ops, and Guest Experience to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and well-adopted.. . Deliver high standards at pace. Balance speed of execution with quality; know when to ship scrappy and when to invest in polish.. . What you'll bring. . 2–4 years of product management (or equivalent) experience in a fast-paced consumer, marketplace, or SaaS environment.. . Proven ability to deliver measurable impact on conversion, retention, or customer experience.. . Strong technical comfort: you can write SQL, explore APIs, and understand how systems connect.. . Hands-on experience prototyping with AI/no-code tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, v0, Bolt, Webflow, Figma).. . Curiosity and empathy: you talk to users regularly and let their needs shape your roadmap.. . Strong communication and collaboration skills; you work across functions with clarity and conviction.. . Comfort with ambiguity and a resourceful, operator mindset.. . Company Location: United States.
