Integrated Master Planner at Advanced Automation Corporation. Position Summary. The Integrated Master Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and integrating comprehensive program schedules for defense projects, ensuring alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) requirements and Earned Value Management (EVM) standards.  This role involves collaborating with program managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) that support multi-million-dollar production programs. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic environment, focusing on schedule optimization, compliance, and supporting program execution from planning through delivery.. This candidate will be hired as a part-time 1099 consultant on a one-year contract.. Candidates local to the Syracuse, NY area are preferred, but all qualified remote candidates will be considered.. Travel is anticipated to be ~30%. Essential Responsibilities. . Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera, incorporating work breakdowns, dependencies, and critical paths.. . Independently review work items, integrate schedules from multiple teams, and ensure alignment with program milestones, budgets, and DoD acquisition processes.. . Perform schedule analysis, including risk assessments, baseline development, and Earned Value Management (EVM) tracking to monitor progress and forecast impacts.. . Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and customers to gather requirements, resolve scheduling conflicts, and provide status updates through reports and briefings.. . Support program planning by developing organizational talent, facilitating training, and building pipelines for future scheduling needs.. . Attend program meetings, milestone reviews, and risk assessments to ensure schedule compliance and integration.. . Identify opportunities for schedule optimization, implement changes, and conduct what-if analyses to support decision-making.. . Basic Qualifications:. . Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.. . 5+ years of experience in program scheduling or integrated planning within the defense industry.. . Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent software.. . Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), DoD regulations, and integrated master scheduling best practices.. . Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.. . U.S. Citizenship required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.. . Preferred Qualifications:. . Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.. . Experience with defense-specific programs, such as weapon systems modifications, repairs, or PNT initiatives.. . Familiarity with risk management tools and advanced schedule analysis techniques.. . Prior coaching or training experience in scheduling methodologies.. . Knowledge of multi-project integration and DoD contracting processes.. . Company Location: United States.
