The ideal candidate will be familiar with behavioral health documentation, Medicaid-compliant note formats, and able to translate clinical information into clear, professional, and compliant session records.. Key Responsibilities:. . Review and transcribe session summaries based on therapist-provided input or audio recordings (as applicable). . . Write clear, accurate, and timely clinical progress notes in alignment with CFTSS requirements and Medicaid regulations. . . Ensure all documentation meets HIPAA standards, agency guidelines, and billing compliance. . . Accurately document interventions, client progress, goals addressed, and future plans. . . Maintain secure and organized digital records of all session notes. . . Collaborate with clinicians and supervisors to clarify any unclear information or ensure consistency with care plans. . . Meet weekly deadlines for submission of completed notes. . . Prior experience writing clinical progress notes or documentation in a behavioral health or social services setting. . . Familiarity with CFTSS programs and Medicaid documentation standards (preferably in New York State). . . Strong understanding of clinical terminology and confidentiality regulations (HIPAA). . . Excellent writing, grammar, and editing skills. . . High attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in documentation. . . Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. . .
