The Mechanical Technician will support the installation and commissioning of automation and robotics systems at various warehouses and distribution sites. This role involves assembling mechanical components, installing stations and conveyor systems, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring that all equipment is safely and properly installed according to specifications and work instructions.. Key Responsibilities:. · Assemble and install robotic stations, conveyor systems, and other mechanical components.. · Interpret blueprints, installation layouts, and technical documentation.. · Perform quality checks to ensure all mechanical components are aligned and secured.. · Use tools such as torque wrenches, power tools, and alignment devices.. · Collaborate with electricians, controls technicians, and project leads to ensure seamless integration of systems.. · Comply with all safety standards and procedures on site.. · Support troubleshooting and adjustments during commissioning and startup phases.. Qualifications:. · Proven experience in mechanical installation or industrial equipment assembly and knowledge of electronics and software in machines. · Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and blueprints.. · Problem solving ability to identify and solve issues. · Strong understanding of mechanical tools, equipment, and safe handling.. · Willingness to work in dynamic warehouse environments.. · Prior experience with automation or robotic systems is a plus. · Effective communicator with proven teamwork abilities. · Willingness to travel 80-100%. · Experience with warehouse automation systems (conveyors, sorters, AS/RS, AMRs). · Forklift certification. · Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. · Capable of working at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions. · May require work during off-hours, weekends, or holidays.
