We are currently looking for a Director of Business Development, Payments in New York (USA).. This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and execute a payments strategy that drives real-world adoption of blockchain-based financial solutions. You will play a central role in expanding the use of next-generation payment applications, such as remittances, merchant settlement, and B2B transfers. By building partnerships with fintechs, PSPs, stablecoin issuers, wallets, and global institutions, you will help establish the foundation for scalable, low-cost, and composable blockchain payments. This is a strategic yet hands-on position where you will guide high-impact integrations, foster meaningful collaborations, and ensure measurable growth in payment volume and ecosystem activity.. Accountabilities. . Own and execute the payments strategy, identifying high-potential partners across both traditional finance and Web3.. . Lead strategic integrations with partners such as wallets, PSPs, stablecoin issuers, and fintech platforms, with clear adoption targets.. . Launch production-grade payment use cases (cross-border remittances, merchant settlement, B2B transfers) within the first year.. . Drive transaction volume growth, ensuring scalability and measurable revenue impact.. . Explore new verticals such as embedded finance, remittance networks, and cross-border SMB payments.. . Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to shape blockchain-native payment primitives.. . Create repeatable integration models and commercial playbooks to streamline partner engagement.. . Represent the organization in global payments discussions, engaging with regulators, industry forums, and thought leadership opportunities.. . . 12+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or Web3, with a focus on business development, partnerships, or product strategy.. . Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem: PSPs, stablecoins, wallets, on/off-ramps, acquiring/issuing, and compliance.. . Proven track record of launching integrations and scaling adoption in cross-functional environments.. . Strong network across fintech, crypto, and traditional payments industries.. . Excellent communication skills, with the ability to balance technical and commercial priorities.. . High degree of ownership and adaptability in fast-paced, evolving environments.. .
