Job Description . Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is seeking a motivated Jr. Database Administrator (DBA) to support a critical project for our gov’t customer. Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of database systems (e.g., MS SQL, Oracle, Access) under the supervision of senior DBAs. . . Monitor database performance and help troubleshoot basic issues to support stability and reliability. . . Support data backup and recovery tasks, following established procedures. . . Learn and apply Department of Defense (DoD) security practices, including Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance. . . Help implement database user access controls and permissions based on defined roles. . . Assist with database documentation efforts, including configuration records, procedures, and user guides. . . Collaborate with developers and other IT staff to support application development and database integration tasks. . . Contribute to database testing and validation efforts using SQL and scripting tools. . . Participate in data modeling activities and assist with making updates to database structures. . . Stay engaged with learning new database technologies, tools, and industry best practices. . . . Location. : This is a remote position with occasional travel to Philadelphia, PA. . . Active DOD Secret Clearance is required. . . Associates degree required; Bachelors degree in related field preferred. . . IAT I certification (A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, or SSCP) required. . . Minimum 2 years’ database administration experience required. . . Willingness to learn and take feedback from senior administrators. . . Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. . .
