E-Commerce Manager at Remote VA. We’re looking for a strategic, customer-focused E-commerce Manager to own the performance, user experience, and growth of our Shopify-based subscription e-commerce store. This role blends website optimization, subscription management, analytics, and marketing-driven decision making — not heavy coding or development. You will be responsible for improving the customer journey end-to-end, managing third-party tools like Rebuy and Recharge, and collaborating closely with marketing, creative, and operations to ensure the website continuously drives conversion, retention, and revenue. Strong communication skills are absolutely essential, as you will work cross-functionally with multiple departments and must be able to clearly explain insights, propose solutions, and walk the team through your work. . Key Responsibilities . E-commerce Performance & UX . ● Own and optimize the full customer journey across the website. . ● Identify friction points and implement UX/CRO improvements. . ● Set up and manage product merchandising, landing pages, navigation, and customer flows. . ● Ensure mobile-first best practices and consistent brand experience.. Shopify Store Management . ● Manage and maintain the Shopify (and Shopify Plus) store. . ● Handle site updates, app integrations, catalog changes, promotions, and basic troubleshooting. . ● Collaborate with developers (when needed) for advanced tasks — you do NOT need to be a coder. . Subscription Ecosystem (Recharge) . ● Manage subscription architecture, billing logic, customer portal experience, and retention flows. . ● Monitor churn, failed payments, and subscription-related metrics. . ● Work with email/SMS teams to optimize dunning, renewal reminders, and customer communications. . Upsells, Personalization & AOV Growth (Rebuy) . ● Configure Rebuy widgets, logic rules, and personalized recommendations. . ● Continuously A/B test offers, placements, and messaging strategies. . ● Improve AOV, conversions, and repeat purchase behavior.. Analytics & Reporting . ● Monitor KPIs: conversion rate, AOV, LTV, churn, subscription health, traffic quality, etc. . ● Create weekly performance reports with insights and recommendations. . ● Use GA4, Shopify analytics, retention dashboards, and heatmaps. . Cross-Functional Collaboration . ● Work closely with marketing, creative, customer support, and fulfillment. . ● Communicate clearly — present findings, explain issues, and propose solutions confidently. . ● Manage tasks, timelines, and priorities for website-related initiatives. . Experience managing e-commerce stores (Shopify required; Shopify Plus preferred) . Strong communication and presentation skills . Ability to explain technical concepts in simple, business-friendly language . Hands-on experience with Recharge and/or subscription management . Experience with Rebuy or similar personalization/upsell tools . Solid understanding of UX, CRO, and customer psychology . Comfortable running A/B tests and optimizing flows .
