Associate Director Business Development . supports the acquisition and growth of new business opportunities, with a focus on Clinical Research and/or Pharmacovigilance (PV), Medical Information (MI), and Regulatory Affairs (RA) services. The role combines proactive client acquisition, account development, and support of strategic sales initiatives.. Location. : Europe (Remote/Travel Required). Reports. to Chief Commercial Officer.                   . The ideal candidate brings a solid track record of successfully driving new client acquisition, demonstrating a strategic, “hunter”-oriented approach in the Clinical Research and/or PV, MI, and RA service domains.  . Key areas of responsibility:. . Attracting new clients and building strong relationships in Clinical Research and/or PV, MI, and RA service lines.. . Maintaining good relationships with assigned key clients and ensuring proactive account management. . . Ensuring completion of assigned sales goals and contributing to broader commercial strategy. . . Supporting the execution of sales strategy and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.. . Responsibilities:. Business Development . . Identify and convert new business opportunities in Clinical Research and/or PV, MI, and RA service areas.. . Independently drive lead generation and relationship development. . . Support sales strategy implementation and represent the company at industry events. . . Key Account Management. . Develop and maintain account plans for assigned clients. . . Coordinate RFP/RFI responses and lead bid defense meetings. . . Ensure high client satisfaction and continuity. . . Operational Collaboration. . Maintain accurate records in CRM systems.. . Actively support proposal, marketing, and operations teams during client acquisition cycles. . . Revenue Growth . . Consistently achieve assigned sales targets.. . Contribute to YoY growth in assigned territories or accounts.. . Requirements:. . Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.. . Proactive and result-driven with strong organizational capabilities.. . Team-oriented but capable of working independently.. . Flexible mindset aligned with company values and growth.. . University degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.. . Minimum 5 years of sales or account management experience in CRO or related life sciences sector.. . Fluent in English and native language (both spoken and written).. . Proficient with MS Office; CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) are an advantage.. . Company Location: Spain.
