As a Health Behavior Technical SETA, you will assist and advise ARPA-H Program Managers on all technical, programmatic, and administrative tasks that further their research and development programs. Specific duties may include: . . . Health Behavior and Mental Health Advisement:. Provide expert technical assistance in developing and evaluating programs to support the Resilient Systems Office mission. . . . Leadership and Oversight: . Provide strategic leadership and direction to various team members to ensure the successful implementation of organizational goals and initiatives related to mental and behavioral health. Act as a trusted advisor, managing key priorities and serving as a point of contact for stakeholders. Ensure alignment of all projects with the organization's mission, vision, and goals, particularly focusing on mental and behavioral health initiatives.. . . Project Management: . Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of complex programs with multiple component parts. Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Utilize advanced project management tools and methodologies to track progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.. . . Team Management: . Foster a high-performance culture by motivating and mentoring team members. Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization. Provide regular updates to the senior leader on project statuses, team performance, and organizational progress.. . . Operational Efficiency:. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency. PhD in Health Behavior or Mental Health related field, with a focus on clinically-relevant health behavior and mental health applications.. . Minimum of 10 years of experience in an operations leadership or similar role, with a very strong background in project management.. . Significant experience in mental health or behavioral health, demonstrating a strong understanding of the field.. . Basic Requirements . . Clinical research experience directly working with patients. . Proven experience in managing complex projects with multiple component parts, preferably within a large organization. . Exceptional leadership skills, written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills. . Strong proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Trello, MS Project, Asana). . Strong proficiency in developing presentations and engaging visual materials is preferred. . Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. .
