In this role, you will oversee the commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and energy systems across multiple projects, ensuring facilities meet design, performance, and operational requirements. You will coordinate with design and construction teams, prepare detailed commissioning plans, and provide technical expertise to solve complex facility challenges. The position allows you to contribute to energy efficiency, building optimization, and high-performance infrastructure while collaborating with a diverse team in a remote-friendly, yet site-focused environment. You will also have the opportunity to mentor staff, influence project outcomes, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.. . Accountabilities:. ·         Execute commissioning, energy management, and facilities services for new and existing buildings on multiple projects.. ·         Review and interpret design documents, RFPs, codes, and project deliverables to ensure project requirements are met.. ·         Prepare commissioning plans, functional performance tests, specifications, checklists, and technical reports.. ·         Conduct design and submittal reviews, O&M manual evaluations, and training plan facilitation.. ·         Ensure compliance with contract documents and commissioning plans.. ·         Support bid and proposal preparation and coordinate with project teams to deliver objectives efficiently.. ·         Lead projects by fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment.. . ·         Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).. ·         Minimum of 8 years of direct experience in commissioning facility systems, including lighting, HVAC, power distribution, UPS, and emergency power.. ·         Commissioning certification (CxA, CCP, CBCP, or equivalent) required.. ·         NEBB certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of start date.. ·         Experience with ASHRAE energy audits and energy engineering principles.. ·         Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites (10-20%).. ·         U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance; active Secret clearance preferred.. ·         Professional Engineer (P.E.), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), and knowledge of LEED, NFPA, IEEE, UL, GSA standards are a plus.. ·         Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work safely on construction sites and in diverse environments.. .
