Healthcare Virtual Assistant (Remote) at The People Group. We’re seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate . Virtual Assistant.  to support the daily operations of our hospice care business. This role will involve administrative coordination, communication with families and partners, and support with scheduling, records, and client inquiries. The ideal candidate is empathetic, tech-savvy, highly organized, and able to handle sensitive situations with discretion.. Key Responsibilities. . Answer emails, phone calls, and text inquiries from families, caregivers, and partners in a warm and professional manner. . Schedule appointments and coordinate care team visits. . Update and manage patient records, files, and CRM databases. . Assist in onboarding new clients and caregivers with the required documentation. . Send follow-ups, reminders, and important updates to families. . Handle light billing/invoicing tasks and coordinate with insurance or payment processors if required. . Maintain a log of key patient events, notes, and communications. . Provide weekly reports to the team on scheduling, communication metrics, and task completion. . Support social media and content posting (if applicable). . Assist with special projects such as caregiver recruiting or community outreach. . . Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or in an administrative support role in healthcare (hospice care experience preferred). . Strong written and verbal communication skills; empathy is essential. . Comfortable using tools like Google Workspace, Zoom, CRMs, and scheduling software (e.g. Calendly, IntakeQ, Kareo, etc.). . Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. . Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. . Proactive, reliable, and calm under pressure. .
