Senior Electrical Designer - Remote at Emanuelson-Podas. As a remote . Senior Electrical Designer. , you will play a key role in the design and documentation of lighting, power, and electrical systems for a variety of projects. You will serve as a technical resource within the firm, producing accurate, code-compliant construction documents while mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, and is confident in developing coordinated project documents with limited oversight.. Key Responsibilities. Design Leadership & Technical Expertise. . Develop accurate, efficient, and code-compliant designs for lighting, power, and electrical systems. . . Break down complex systems into understandable components for project teams. . . Perform facility assessments, site verifications, and quality assurance reviews. . . Excel in areas of expertise while fostering innovation and best practices. . . Project Documentation & Coordination. . Create and review complete drawing sets in Revit and AutoCAD, including model setup, sheet creation, and coordination with other disciplines. . . Ensure compliance with internal standards and applicable codes. . . Utilize industry and company software (Outlook, Excel, BlueBeam, AutoCAD, Revit, Word, AGI 32, and LiquidPlanner) to complete tasks accurately and efficiently. . . Maintain organized documentation throughout all phases of design and construction. . . Mentorship & Team Engagement. . Provide guidance and oversight to junior designers to support their technical development. . . Model professionalism, reliability, and accountability within project teams. . . Communicate effectively with colleagues, project partners, and other disciplines. . . Professional Engagement. .
