We’re seeking an experienced and versatile engineering leader to guide our Customer Pod, owning the delivery of our web and mobile platforms to support customers in their Reproductive Revolution.. Drive the architecture, planning, and end-to-end delivery of new product features and technical initiatives.. . Line manage and mentor the career growth of engineers within your pod through regular 1:1s, code reviews, and pair programming.. . Own and improve your team's delivery process, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to ensure timely and high-quality releases.. . Lead technical planning and architectural sessions, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business goals.. . Act as the primary point of contact for technical incidents during working hours, ensuring swift resolution.. . Engineering Excellence & Strategy:. . Champion and drive improvements in engineering efficiency, tooling, and practices (e.g., CI/CD, observability, testing frameworks).. . Demonstrate expert command of our core tech stack (Typescript, React, GraphQL, Postgres, React-Native, Terraform, AWS, and Github Actions), and lead technical decision-making.. . Apply knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns to help build a platform that is secure, stable and scalable. . Utilise expert debugging skills with tools like Datadog to establish robust monitoring, alerting, and error-handling strategies.. . . Collaboration & Communication:. . Drive clear, effective communication within the engineering team and act as the key technical representative with product, design, and other business stakeholders.. . Own the engineering team's visibility to the wider business by leading technical showcases and cross-functional planning sessions.. .
