You will own SEO strategy end to end across a portfolio of brands, spanning technical SEO, content direction, and link acquisition. This is not a junior execution role. It is for someone who can think holistically, diagnose problems quickly, and drive measurable growth in traffic, rankings, and authority.. SEO Strategy and Client Ownership. Own SEO strategy across multiple DTC and e commerce clients. Translate business goals into clear organic growth roadmaps. Align SEO initiatives with paid media, CRO, and retention efforts. Act as the SEO authority in client conversations and internal planning. Technical SEO and Site Architecture. Lead technical SEO audits and prioritization across Shopify and custom sites. Diagnose and resolve issues related to crawling, indexing, site structure, and performance. Guide implementations related to schema, internal linking, faceted navigation, and migrations. Ensure SEO foundations scale with catalog growth and site changes. Content Strategy and Search Demand Capture. Define content strategies rooted in search intent, category expansion, and product discovery. Guide content briefs and editorial direction with a performance mindset. Balance informational content, commercial pages, and programmatic opportunities. Evaluate content quality and performance, not just output. Link Building and Authority Growth. Design and oversee link acquisition strategies that grow domain authority sustainably. Evaluate backlink profiles, identify risks, and guide cleanup when needed. Measure success through both authority metrics and ranking outcomes. Performance Measurement and Reporting. Track organic traffic, rankings, revenue impact, and authority growth. Communicate results clearly to internal teams and clients. Use data to adjust strategy rather than follow static playbooks. AI and Search Evolution. Use AI tools to improve research, analysis, and workflow efficiency. Stay curious about GEO, AI-assisted search, and evolving discovery models. Experiment thoughtfully while protecting core performance. What You Bring. 10 or more years. of SEO experience with strong fundamentals. Agency background managing multiple client accounts simultaneously. Deep experience with . DTC, e commerce, and Shopify-based businesses. Proven track record of growing organic traffic and domain authority. Strong technical SEO knowledge across complex sites. Experience leading content strategy and link building initiatives. Comfortable using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, GSC, GA, and crawlers. Strategic mindset with the ability to balance speed, quality, and results. Clear communicator who can explain tradeoffs and decisions confidently. Nice to Have. Experience working closely with paid media and lifecycle marketing teams. Background in retention-focused SEO or post-purchase content strategies. Familiarity with AI-assisted research and content workflows. Experience guiding junior SEO team members or collaborators.
