Role Overview. We’re seeking a seasoned VP of Engineering to lead and elevate our engineering function across these products. This executive will manage a team of 20+ engineers, conduct code reviews, and work closely across product teams to deliver high-quality blockchain-first solutions.. Key Responsibilities. . Lead, mentor, and scale an engineering team of 20+ across web, backend, and mobile domains.. . Oversee end-to-end technical delivery and architecture across Paxful, TabTrader, and Omni Wallet.. . Conduct technical leadership: code reviews, infrastructure reviews, quality enforcement across stack.. . Collaborate deeply with product leadership—ensuring engineering deliverables align with product vision, user needs, and timelines.. . Drive architecture discussions with focus on scalability, security, performance, and multi-chain interoperability.. . Champion engineering best practices: CI/CD, testing standards, DevOps, and documentation.. . Recruit and develop top-tier engineering talent as the portfolio grows.. . Foster consistent integration and reuse of common services across products to maximize synergies.. . Qualifications. . 10+ years in software engineering leadership; at least 5 years managing teams of 20+ engineers.. . Demonstrable deep expertise in blockchain/Web3 technologies—e.g., wallets, DeFi, multi-chain protocols, smart contracts, bridging, decentralized infrastructure.. . Hands-on experience in code review and technical architecture across multiple technology stacks (frontend, backend, mobile).. . Strong history of cross-functional collaboration, particularly partnering with product teams to deliver complex software systems.. . Proven success in scaling engineering organizations, improving velocity, quality, and team culture.. . Excellent strategic thinking, effective communication skills, and presence to partner with senior leadership.. . Must be able to work Central Europe hours.. . Company Location: United States.
