Evaluate and underwrite conventional first mortgage loans, including appraisals and self-employed borrower financials.. . Communicate underwriting decisions clearly to loan officers, processors, and other stakeholders.. . Maintain up-to-date knowledge of agency guidelines, compliance standards, and internal policies.. . Meet established turn-time expectations while balancing pipeline volume and loan prioritization.. . Support special projects or product development initiatives within the underwriting department.. . Foster a collaborative, team-oriented culture aligned with company values.. . . Minimum of 5 years’ experience underwriting conventional mortgage loans.. .
