Our client is a fast-growing real estate development and holding company with diversified operations across construction, property management (150+ doors), and private investments. . Role Overview:. This role will be responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple entities, including construction, operating properties, and development projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in real estate and construction accounting, be comfortable with multiple systems (such as QuickBooks, AppFolio, and Ramp), and thrive in a dynamic, project-driven environment. Familiarity with multi-entity bookkeeping and a high degree of accuracy are essential.. Key Responsibilities:. . Accounts Payable & Reconciliation. . . Manage AP and reconciliations for:. . . Construction entities. . Operating properties. . Pre-development and development jobs. . . . Coordinate with leadership to review spending on projects prior to ownership. . Weekly AP tracking and reporting. . . Systems & Data Entry. . . Enter invoices into QuickBooks or AppFolio, coded to appropriate properties and GL accounts. . Input budgets into QuickBooks and generate budget-to-actual reports. . Enter and manage contracts. . Set up and manage vendors in Ramp (expense management platform). . Support future onboarding into Fathom HQ for financial reporting. . . . Reconciliations & Reporting. . . Perform monthly reconciliations across all entities. . Track and reconcile capital accounts (equity contributions into each project). . Weekly reporting on AP, cash balances, and other KPIs as determined. . . . Financial Structure & GL Management. . . Assist in building and maintaining GL structures for:. . . Construction budgets and bids. . Operating properties. . Soft cost tracking (legal, architecture, engineering, bank fees, etc.). . . . . Forward-Looking Financial Planning. . . Collaborate on annual and mid-year income projections across the company:. . . Estimate revenue, fees, reinvestment. . Project large capital expenditures for future development deals. . . . . Requirements:. . 3–5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience in real estate, construction, or property management. . Strong proficiency with QuickBooks and AppFolio (or similar property management software). . Experience working in a multi-entity environment. . Familiarity with Ramp or willingness to learn. . Strong understanding of job costing, AP/AR, GL, and capital account tracking. . High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. . Proactive communicator with strong organizational skills. . Familiarity with Fathom HQ or other financial reporting tools is a plus. . Preferred Attributes:. .
