We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong SQL skills and solid experience working with Snowflake. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with data integration and transformation, and will ideally bring some exposure to modern tools such as Matillion and/or SnapLogic. This role suits someone with a few years of experience who wants to grow into more senior responsibilities. . Responsibilities:. Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows, primarily using SQL and Snowflake. . Assist in building and optimizing data models to support analytics and reporting needs. . Ingest and transform data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability. . Support data quality, governance, and security practices across data processes. . Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver business-ready datasets. . Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement. . Gain hands-on experience with tools such as Matillion and SnapLogic under senior guidance. .  . Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). . 2–4 years of experience in data engineering, with strong proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Snowflake. . Understanding of ETL/ELT principles and experience building data pipelines. . Basic knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization. . Some experience with data integration tools (Matillion, SnapLogic, or similar is a plus). . Familiarity with working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). . Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. . Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team. .  . Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):. Exposure to Matillion or SnapLogic in production or training projects. . Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, or similar) for automation. . Familiarity with APIs and cloud-based data services. .  . Company Location: Romania.
