This remote, full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to design and optimize large-scale database systems powering advanced sports performance analytics. As a key member of a collaborative product development team, you’ll shape end-to-end data solutions that capture and process biomechanical and motion-tracking data for elite athletic organizations. You will be involved in both backend and frontend development, focusing on system scalability, data accessibility, and seamless client-facing visualization tools. The position combines cloud computing, API design, and UI/UX implementation to support the next generation of athlete performance intelligence across multiple sports. Design, develop, and maintain databases for large biomechanics and motion capture datasets across multiple sports.. Build and optimize RESTful API solutions for internal and client-facing applications.. Develop scalable cloud-based data storage and access architectures leveraging AWS, Azure, or similar platforms.. Implement server load balancing and performance optimization to ensure high-speed, reliable data delivery.. Collaborate on developing web reporting and visualization tools for new sports platforms.. Enhance UI/UX in existing and upcoming client-facing interfaces for data visualization and analysis.. Integrate hardware and software solutions for efficient data capture and processing workflows.. Contribute to internal tools that improve efficiency in data management, sharing, and system performance.. . Proficiency in programming languages including C++, Python, Ruby, MySQL, and JavaScript (React, Node.js).. Solid experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Cloudflare.. Expertise in developing RESTful APIs and web applications (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).. Knowledge of performance optimization and memory-efficient coding practices..
