As a NOC Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of enterprise infrastructure and applications. Monitor and support production systems and applications using diagnostic and monitoring tools.. Perform first-level analysis of issues, track alerts, and collaborate with IT teams to resolve problems efficiently.. Manage batch jobs, troubleshoot failures, and assess impact on production schedules.. Escalate and coordinate with support groups, service owners, vendors, and third-party providers to ensure uninterrupted service.. Work proactively with application, system, database, and network teams to optimize performance and improve operational workflows.. Maintain and update system documentation, run-books, and knowledge base articles.. Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and reporting.. . Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.. 2+ years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar production environment.. Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving in 24x7 production systems (SaaS/web).. Experience with Linux command line and scripting.. Knowledge of database management and application stacks.. Hands-on experience with web/application servers such as Apache Tomcat or IIS.. Understanding of basic network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP) and utilities (Telnet, SSH, CURL).. Familiarity with Incident and Problem Management tools.. Strong communication skills, time management, and ability to handle multiple tasks independently..
