Category Manager at Weekday AI. This role is for one of the Weekday's clients. Min Experience: 4 years. JobType: full-time. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to lead our FMCG buying and category management function for the Packaged Food and BDF categories. This role involves full ownership of key AAP (Assortment, Availability, Pricing) metrics, driving revenue and profitability, building strong brand partnerships, and unlocking monetization opportunities across both offline and online channels.. Key Responsibilities. Own the . FMCG food category P&L. , optimizing margins, improving sales mix, and enhancing cost efficiency. . Develop . pricing and promotion strategies. while negotiating TOTs with national and regional FMCG brands. . Plan . assortment and merchandising. to maximize visibility, conversion, and customer satisfaction. . Build and nurture . strategic supplier partnerships. , creating and executing joint business plans. . Forecast demand and manage inventory to ensure . high availability and optimal stock levels. . . Leverage . offline stores, mobile app, and quick commerce channels. to design impactful customer acquisition and retention initiatives. . Pitch the company’s . tech-enabled retail ecosystem. to brands for co-marketing, monetization, and innovation-driven collaborations. . Monitor competitor activities to identify . growth opportunities and performance gaps. . . Ensure . catalogue accuracy. , compliance in pricing, and healthy assortment management. . Implement . exit strategies for low-performing SKUs. and track vendor spends against agreed targets. . Requirements. 4–8 years of experience in . FMCG buying, category management, or trade marketing. . . Strong understanding of . modern retail, digital commerce, and omnichannel execution. . . Proven track record of . managing brand portfolios. and delivering P&L accountability. . Excellent . negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. . .
