We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform in the United States.. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Data Platform team, you will design and build the core systems that power enterprise-scale data products. You will have the opportunity to shape the architecture of a high-performance, reliable data platform while working closely with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven features across the organization. This role emphasizes both strategic technical leadership and hands-on engineering, solving complex challenges involving large-scale datasets, distributed systems, and modern data technologies. You will contribute to designing APIs, frameworks, and infrastructure that ensure scalable, fault-tolerant data processing and drive measurable business impact. Your work will support innovation, reliability, and efficiency for internal and external data products at scale.. . Accountabilities. . Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance data services and infrastructure.. . Build clean, well-tested software for ingestion, transformation, and serving of large-scale datasets.. . Engineer high-availability and fault-tolerant systems for data processing and storage.. . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate with upstream systems and enable data-driven features.. . Evaluate and implement distributed storage, compute, and query technologies to optimize platform performance.. . Continuously improve platform reliability, efficiency, and observability through automation and monitoring.. . Build APIs, frameworks, and libraries to standardize data processing and access across teams.. . . . B.S. in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent experience).. . 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Data Engineer building production systems at scale.. . Strong software engineering fundamentals: design patterns, testing, debugging, code quality, and performance optimization.. . Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, Scala, or similar).. . Hands-on experience with big data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Spark, Hadoop/Hive).. . Strong SQL skills; experience with Snowflake is a plus.. . Familiarity with modern data tooling (e.g., dbt, Kafka, Kinesis) is desirable.. . Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.. . Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.. .
