Accountant. to join one of our long-standing US-based clients; a vertically integrated manufacturing group serving highly regulated industries like medical devices, defense, and consumer products.. This role is ideal for someone who has strong accounting fundamentals and thrives in a structured, detail-oriented environment. You’ll take ownership of month-end activities, support financial reporting, and contribute to improving finance processes across multiple facilities.. Accountability. As an Accountant, your success will be defined by your ability to maintain accurate financial records, close books reliably and on time, and support broader reporting and analysis goals. Here’s how you’ll make an impact:. Month-End Close & Reconciliation. . Lead the monthly close process for one of the company’s key facilities.. . Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, depreciation, and month-end adjustments.. . Reconcile key general ledger accounts such as bank, fixed assets, and liabilities.. . Maintain monthly close documentation and checklists.. . . Financial Reporting & Analysis. . Support P&L and balance sheet reporting in coordination with the company’s Financial Controller.. . Conduct variance analysis to help identify anomalies, trends, or cost-saving opportunities.. . Assist in building custom performance reports (e.g., scrap rates, labor efficiency, etc.). . Help transform data into insights using tools like Excel and/or Power BI.. . Process & Systems Support. . Maintain financial data integrity in the ERP system.. . Assist in consolidating results across multiple entities and systems.. . Recommend and implement process improvements that drive efficiency in the close cycle.. . Collaborate with AP/AR teams to ensure accurate transaction flow and documentation.. . Colleagues. Your primary stakeholders will include the client’s finance team and on-site operations leaders, with direct reporting to the Financial Controller. Experience. : Around 5 years in accounting roles, with exposure to manufacturing or production environments being a bonus.. . . Month-End Ownership:. Experience with journal entries, GL reconciliation, and financial close processes.. . . ERP Systems:. Familiarity with any ERP (Epicor is a bonus).. . . Tools. : Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling); familiarity with Power BI is a plus.. . . Analytical Mindset: .
