Accountabilities:. · Design, build, and scale backend services and APIs that support consumer applications, partner integrations, and core business platforms.. · Lead technical decisions and contribute to long-term architecture, system design, and service evolution.. · Deliver high-impact projects end-to-end, ensuring quality, maintainability, and timely execution.. · Collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.. · Build fault-tolerant systems with multiple external dependencies in distributed environments.. · Drive adoption of best practices, including testing, observability, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.. · Mentor and support team engineers, raising technical standards and fostering professional growth.. · Operate and maintain production services with high availability using monitoring and observability tools.. . · 6–8+ years of professional software engineering experience, focusing on backend development.. · 4+ years hands-on Java experience (Spring core/web/boot, Gradle, JUnit, JVM tuning & performance).. · Strong computer science fundamentals and experience designing scalable, distributed systems.. · Experience delivering multiple high-impact projects end-to-end.. · Proficient with AWS (EKS, Aurora RDS, Elasticache, DynamoDB), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).. · Skilled in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred), git, and build automation.. · Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., DataDog) to maintain service reliability.. · Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with globally distributed teams.. · Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and elevate team technical standards.. · Bonus: Experience in FinTech, payment systems, big data platforms (e.g., Snowflake), or Infrastructure as Code (CDK/Terraform)..
