Telemedicine Physician Remote at Valgorithm. About the Role:. We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to provide telemedicine coverage during night shifts. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a wide range of urgent care and primary care cases remotely. Most patient encounters involve non-emergent, outpatient-level issues such as:. Musculoskeletal injuries (sprains, strains, minor trauma) . Upper and lower respiratory infections (URI, sinusitis, bronchitis) . Urinary tract infections (UTI) . Medication refills and management . Lifestyle and wellness consultations (e.g., erectile dysfunction, sleep health) . Key Responsibilities:. Provide timely and accurate virtual medical consultations for patients across multiple states. . Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions within the scope of telemedicine. . Document all patient encounters thoroughly in the EMR system. . Prescribe medications and order diagnostics when appropriate. . Adhere to all federal and state regulations and telemedicine best practices.. Qualifications:. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution. . Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine. . Active medical licenses in 20+ states (20+ licensure highly preferred). . Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-residency (telemedicine experience strongly preferred).. Company Location: United States.
