We’re seeking a proactive, detail-driven, and autonomous E-commerce Specialist to partner with our Marketing and E-commerce Manager in managing and optimising our (AusLS) Shopify Plus online store. You’ll oversee the performance and growth of the website, owning projects from start to finish and ensuring the site is accurate, engaging, and high-performing. This role requires a self-starter with proven ecommerce expertise, capable of working independently, identifying opportunities, and delivering improvements without constant direction.. Key Responsibilities: . Own end-to-end Shopify development, including theme customisation (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JS), metafields, checkout logic, and app integrations. . Independently lead and deliver complex Shopify projects (new brands, collection architecture, custom templates, scalable store builds). . Troubleshoot and resolve issues across themes, apps, checkout, automations, and performance. . Build and optimise backend workflows using Shopify Flow (tags, fulfilment rules, routing, automations). . Manage shipping and fulfilment integrations (Starshipit, Intuvitie, Big Post). . Implement promotions, bundles, discounts, cross-sells, and upsells. . Collaborate on SEO implementation, optimise assets, and improve site speed and UX. . Track performance using Shopify Analytics, GA4, and Ahrefs; recommend CRO improvements. . Audit site health, fix bugs, and document technical processes and SOPs.. Required Skills and Qualifications:. 3+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience. . Strong Liquid, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript skills. . Proven ability to own and deliver Shopify projects independently. . Experience with Shopify Flow, app integrations (Klaviyo, Checkout Blocks), and shipping logic. . Data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills..
