The Project Manager will work to support the Department of Veterans Affairs - Financial Audit of Invoices and Billing Practices under VA’s Medical Disability Examination (MDEs) Contracts. This is a. remote. position but may require some travel to CATHEXIS Headquarters in Tysons, VA.. The person in this role will be successful by: being detail oriented, demonstrating the ability to work independently, maintaining connectivity and access to the VA network and required systems, maintaining access to the MDE Vendor portals, and completing objective evaluations of medical records and claims as it pertains to fraud, waste and abuse.. In the first 90 days, success means demonstrating the ability to oversee a team of Healthcare Auditors conducting independent, standards-based invoice audits and documenting results in a detailed and accurate manner based on criteria with minimal supervisory review. Additionally, the Project Manager should demonstrate the ability to understand and manipulate complex Excel workbooks and implement continuous improvement to streamline training and processes.. Responsibilities:. . Under limited supervision and direction, oversee all phases of the MDE Audit project management lifecycle. . Must have the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment to ensure tasks, milestones, and deliverables are successfully met. . Responsible for ensuring all weekly and monthly deliverables are delivered on time and have been reviewed for accuracy, completeness, and quality. . Assumes responsibility for overall management, direction, and execution of tasks . . Responsible for management of all CATHEXIS team members. . Focuses on execution monitoring, control, team integration, and change management. . Identifies deviations from implementation plan and review and audit schedules and implements corrective actions as required to meet customer’s requirements. . Oversees and recommends enhancements to quality control processes across programmatic execution, planning, and reporting phases. . Ensures adherence to VA and related company policies, processes . . Requirements:. . BA/BS or Masters. . Must have a minimum of eight (8) years of project management experience. . Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. . Comfortable managing multiple, variable tasks within targeted timelines and thriving in a demanding, quickly changing environment. . Must be eligible to obtain a Veterans Affairs Public Trust Clearance (NACI background investigation). . Desired Skills:. . Lean Six Sigma / Process Improvement. . Expert-level Excel experience. .
