Staff Accountant at Builders Capital. Builders Capital is looking for a . Staff Accountant. to join our growing Accounting team. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of our accounts payable process. Manage daily transaction processing, including loan receivables and general ledger entries.. . Track and reconcile cash transactions.. . Complete monthly bank reconciliations and assigned balance sheet account reconciliations.. . Support month-end close by reviewing journal entries.. . Review and analyze assigned general ledger accounts for accuracy, addressing discrepancies as needed.. . Assist with regular monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes.. . Contribute to special projects and analytical tasks as assigned.. . . Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.. . 3+ years’ of experience in similar accounting role with a heavy focus in Accounts Payable.. . Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities with understanding of cash flow concepts and principles.. . Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.. . Experience with NetSuite preferred but not required.. . Excellent written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.. . Ability to communicate financial concepts to business leaders, both orally and in writing.. . High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work on multiple objectives at any one time.. . Willing to assume duties and projects to further the goals of the company.. .
