We are looking for a versatile and proactive Business Operations Associate or Manager with a strong focus on . billing and financial operations. . In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the company’s internal processes, managing cross-functional initiatives, and driving both day-to-day and strategic operational goals.. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic tech environment.. Key Responsibilities. Drive Business Operations. . Ensure cross-departmental alignment by supporting core business activities. . . Document and improve internal processes across teams. . . Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and manage special projects. . . Lead Financial Operations (Billing-Focused). . Own and manage client billing workflows: invoicing, tracking usage, and reconciliation. . . Collaborate with Customer Success, Engineering, and Finance for billing accuracy. . . Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain clear invoicing records. . . Support vendor billing, expense tracking, and budgeting. . . Contribute to financial reporting and forecasting with accurate billing insights. . . HR & People Operations. . Manage onboarding/offboarding, policy updates, and employee documentation. . . Maintain HR systems and compliance records. . . Support initiatives that improve employee engagement and retention. . . Strategic & Compliance Projects. . Partner with leadership on cross-functional initiatives to drive growth. . . Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders. . . Support compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, data privacy) and audit preparation. . . Administrative Support. . Manage calendars, team tools, and other administrative tasks. . . Step in as needed to support high-priority areas and solve operational issues. . . . 4+ years of experience in operations, billing/finance, HR, or cross-functional projects. . . Proven experience managing SaaS billing workflows or usage-based model. . . Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills. . . Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, HR, or related field. . . Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, GDPR, employment law, etc.). . . Availability to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.. . Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. . . Self-starter mindset with comfort in ambiguity and change. . . Experience in high-growth or startup environments is a plus. . . Company Location: Canada.
