We are seeking a skilled and client-focused Key Account Manager to oversee and strengthen relationships with major retail partners. In this role, you will serve as the primary contact for key clients, supporting growth initiatives and ensuring alignment between client expectations and internal execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and experienced in managing strategic accounts in a fast-paced environment. A successful candidate will bring a mix of analytical, communication, and project management skills to help drive sales performance and ensure the delivery of tailored solutions to top accounts.. Accountabilities:. . Build and manage long-term relationships with major retail clients, ensuring continuous alignment and trust. . Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth within key accounts. . Collaborate with internal departments (marketing, product, operations) to ensure seamless client experiences. . Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses. . Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and assist in creating tailored proposals. . Gather and share market feedback and client insights to inform internal strategy and product improvement. . Monitor and report on key account performance using relevant KPIs and analytics tools. . . Associate degree or equivalent work experience; bachelor’s degree preferred. . 5+ years in key account management, sales strategy, or category management in pet, CPG, or consumables. . Proven ability to analyze and apply syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI) to drive merchandising strategy. . Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including experience engaging with cross-functional teams. . Proficiency in MS Office and experience with project management and accounting software. . Ability to build and present sales materials using PowerPoint or similar tools. . Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask under deadlines. . Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel up to once per month by air or car. . Company Location: United States.
