Field Service Technicians . who will be dedicated to on-site troubleshooting and support for one of our key customers located in West Texas. In these roles, you will provide hands-on service by performing equipment testing, calibration, and field diagnostics directly at the customer site, while also serving as trusted technical resources for resolving hardware, software, and network issues. These positions are ideal for technically savvy professionals who thrive in customer-facing environments, enjoy problem-solving, and are motivated to ensure the highest standards of safety and reliability.. Key Responsibilities. . Travel to customer locations to perform bump testing and calibration on Blackline Safety products.. . Respond to technical support requests related to hardware, software, firmware, and network connectivity in alignment with departmental service levels.. . Liaise with senior technical teams to escalate, highlight, and resolve product-related issues.. . Diagnose technical problems with field equipment and collaborate with internal teams to validate, determine root cause, and implement corrective action.. . Recommend product improvements to reduce customer support cases based on reported issues and feedback within Blackline.. . Manage technical support projects, including problem resolution, corrective procedure implementation, and solution introduction to the Technical Support team.. . Identify process improvements across the department and recommend enhancements to troubleshooting tools and workflows.. . Document technical problem investigations in CRM (NetSuite) and JIRA tracking systems with accurate and timely record-keeping.. . Provide updates to stakeholders on the progress and status of problem resolution.. . Prepare professional, customer-facing reports to summarize investigation outcomes and support customer education on Blackline products.. . Conduct daily inspections of Blackline vehicles before travel to customer locations. Monitor and maintain fuel and equipment inventory, replenishing as necessary.. . Perform routine safety check-ins using G7c devices.. . Maintain accurate and compliant vehicle driving logs, ensuring all required maintenance, cleanliness, oil changes, and general upkeep are completed.. . Follow assigned daily routes and provide feedback to improve transportation efficiency.. . Perform repetitive manual handling/lifting of up to 25 lbs.. . Utilize Blackline Portal software to complete assigned tasks.. .  . Skills and Qualifications. . Technical diploma or degree from a recognized institution.. . Proficiency in wireless standards and wireless device configuration.. . Experience supporting, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting connectivity devices.. . Strong troubleshooting skills across diverse technology portfolios including hardware, software, telecom, and networks.. . Intermediate to advanced skills with analytics tools such as Power BI and NetSuite.. . High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.. . Advanced verbal and written business communication skills that are clear, concise, courteous, and professional.. . Skilled at conveying complex technical issues clearly to diverse audiences.. . Strong project management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.. . Proactive approach to problem determination and resolution.. . Knowledge or experience in gas detection technology is considered an asset.. . Fluency in written and spoken English; Spanish or other languages are an asset.. . Willingness to travel within North America with a clean driver’s abstract.. . Maintains valid safety certifications including First Aid, H2S Alive, and other required safety tickets.. .
