As a Staff Software Engineer in the Engineering Experience group, you will design and maintain the systems, tools, and processes that empower mobile, web, and backend engineering teams to ship high-quality software efficiently. You will influence testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks that scale across multiple platforms. This role combines hands-on engineering, cross-functional collaboration, and mentorship responsibilities, allowing you to shape the development workflow and quality culture across the organization. Build and maintain automated test infrastructure supporting mobile (iOS & Android), web, and backend teams.. . Design, evolve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, test strategies, and coverage tooling.. . Develop reusable testing frameworks and playbooks that accelerate development without compromising quality.. . Integrate and manage third-party tools for UI, API, and performance testing.. . Collaborate cross-functionally with platform teams, application engineers, and product managers to embed testing early in the development lifecycle.. . Lead testing strategies for critical projects, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.. . Evangelize best practices for testability, observability, and release hygiene.. . Mentor engineers to improve testing practices and holistic quality awareness.. . . 6+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Development in Test (SDET) roles.. . Strong experience building and maintaining automated tests and CI/CD workflows.. . Proficiency with modern test automation frameworks (e.g., Maestro, Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Cypress).. . Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Ruby, Shell/Bash, Python).. . Experience with mobile, API, and web testing.. . Familiarity integrating and maintaining third-party QA and monitoring tools.. . Ability to collaborate across teams and influence quality practices.. . Excellent communication and documentation skills.. . Bonus: experience with containerized test infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes), AWS-based infrastructure with Terraform, and supporting multi-platform testing (iOS, Android, backend).
