Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements. Additionally, all team members may be called upon to support proposal efforts as needed. This could include resume formatting, providing skills alignment summaries, participating in meetings, or contributing to solutioning activities based on subject matter expertise or functional experience.. Responsibilities. · Assess on-premises applications and infrastructure to determine the appropriate Azure cloud native solutions.. · Design end-to-end cloud migration plan and strategies for custom web applications on Microsoft IIS, on-premises APIs and Windows console applications.. · Select and architect Azure native services, including App Services, Functions, Logic Apps and AKS, based on scalability, cost, and business goals.. · Lead database migration initiatives, specifically provisioning the Azure database for PostgreSQL and migrating this on-prem PostgreSQL to Azure cloud.. · Experience with managing user security and login with Active Directory and Entra ID. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams on migration to capture requirements, communicate risks and align technical direction with business goals.. · Create architecture diagrams, migration runbooks and code, and technical documentation for planning, implementation, operation, and client handover.. · Conduct performance tuning and testing of workloads post-migration to ensure reliability and cost efficiency.. · Ensure alignment with enterprise security, governance, and accessibility standards.. · Bachelor's Degree (e.g., Computer Science or equivalent). · 7+ years in cloud-based solution architecture and cloud security, including Entra ID, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Information Protection. · Deep knowledge of Azure Cloud, M365 Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse. · Demonstrated experience in Azure DevOps and Automation, including Azure CLI, PowerShell, and ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, as well as experience with source control using Git for scripts. · Proven experience with monitoring and performance optimization, including Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and KQL. · Knowledge of Azure networking and connectivity, including Azure Virtual Network, Azure DNS, and Azure Application Gateway. · Experience with containerization and microservices, including Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure App Services, and Azure API Management. · Relevant experience with Agile development methodology, designing secure, scalable, and compliant solutions. · Solid understanding of managing and migrating on-premises PostgreSQL to Azure managed database. · Good experience managing API services in Azure cloud. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications. · Federal Government experience as a contractor. · Active Public Trust (or higher) clearance. · Experience with MySQL, MariaDB, MS SQL, or Oracle. Work Environment & Physical Requirements. This is a remote/work-from-home position.
