We're looking for a rare breed: a commercially-minded creative who lives at the intersection of design and B2B marketing. This isn't about perfecting one narrow skill; it's about bringing versatility, energy, and zeal to growing our marketing function. . Reporting to the marketing director, you'll be our brand storyteller, content architect, and strategic partner to sales. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Director, collaborating on marketing initiatives and being expected to step in when they're unavailable; this requires someone who can operate at both the strategic and executional level with confidence. You'll work directly with clinical teams and Isla’s growth & product functions to sharpen our messaging, produce content that converts, and shape how healthcare professionals understand the tangible difference our digital pathway platform makes for patients and clinicians.. You'll be part of a small, tight-knit team where collaboration is everything. We need someone who works well with others, jumps in wherever needed, and understands that no job is too big or too small. . One day you might be presenting a strategy to the executive team, the next you're formatting a deck or troubleshooting an email campaign, and you're equally energised by both.. This is more than just a role; it's an opportunity to make a tangible impact. We're looking for someone who will roll up their sleeves, go the extra mile, and help us build something meaningful in healthcare.. ----. What You'll Do. Client-facing marketing & sales enablement. Work alongside sales to understand prospect pain points, refine our USPs, and test messaging with real clients and NHS Trusts. Create sales collateral, case studies, and other marketing materials that help close deals. . Strategic copy creation. You don't need to be a Pulitzer-winning writer, but you know how to structure a compelling narrative. You ask the right questions, extract insights from clinical teams/customers, and craft content (blogs, thought leadership, web copy, email campaigns) that resonates with healthcare decision-makers. AI tools will accelerate first drafts and ideation, freeing you to focus on strategy and storytelling. You are adept at leveraging the latest content format trends to achieve top search rankings and enhance online visibility.. Creative production & design. Bring visual ideas to life. Whether editing video, creating presentation decks, designing social graphics, or developing campaign assets, you're comfortable in the creative space. You understand design principles enough to produce high-quality work and collaborate effectively with designers or agencies when needed.. PR & brand storytelling. Draft press releases, build media relationships, and work with NHS trusts to launch partnerships and share impact stories. As part of your role, you’ll also help to manage our digital presence across social and other digital channels, always thinking about how to position Isla as a leader in healthcare innovation.. Strategic marketing projects . This role is a strategic partner in our growth, and as it's new, you'll have the autonomy to help shape it. You will not only execute campaigns but also contribute to high-impact initiatives that define our marketing strategy. There will be ample opportunity to get involved in other high-impact projects of interest as you pioneer new martech and channels, streamline processes for efficiency, and ultimately grow into a leadership role with people management responsibilities as the team expands.. ----. What We're Looking For. Must-haves. B2B marketing experience (6+ years): Proven track record working closely with sales teams in B2B environments. You understand the sales cycle, speak their language, and have created materials that demonstrably support pipeline and revenue growth. You must have a strong working knowledge of HubSpot. . Content versatility: You can create structured, insight-driven content across formats. You know how to interview stakeholders, identify what matters, and package it compellingly. You're AI-forward, excited to use tools like Gemini, ChatGPT, or Claude to accelerate production while maintaining quality and voice.. Creative + commercial balance: You think like a marketer and create like a designer. You appreciate aesthetics and user experience, but always tie creative work back to business outcomes. You're comfortable producing visual content yourself or art-directing others. You are comfortable with tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and various AI creative tools such as Gamma, Descript, and Canva, for example. . Ambiguity as fuel: Undefined roles energise you. You've worked in both structured corporate environments and scrappy startups, and you know how to bring the best of both worlds: process when needed, agility always.. Self-starter with exceptional standards: You don't need hand-holding. You're proactive, detail-obsessed, and take pride in delivering work that exceeds expectations. "Good enough" isn't in your vocabulary.. Team player with roll-up-your-sleeves mentality: You thrive in small team environments where everyone pitches in. You're as happy jumping in to help a colleague as you are leading your own projects. No task is beneath you; whether it's high-level strategy or tactical execution, you bring the same professionalism and energy.. Tools: Figma, Canva, HubSpot, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Drive slides, WordPress + extensive working knowledge of various AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude). Big pluses. Healthcare or NHS marketing experience: Understanding of how healthcare organisations make buying decisions. Design background: Formal training (e.g., Graphic design) or extensive hands-on experience with tools like Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite. Startup/agency + corporate mix: You've seen both worlds and know how to operate in each. Your mindset. This role requires someone who wants more than a job. You're excited about transforming healthcare, not just hitting KPIs. You're ready to:. Thrive at pace. You are comfortable with the high-energy rhythm of a startup. You find clarity and purpose in a fast-moving, dynamic environment and can deliver high-quality work with speed and precision. You don't just keep up; you proactively drive momentum.. Go the extra mile: Startups demand thinking beyond your job description, pitching in wherever needed, and consistently going above and beyond. Embrace flexibility: No two days are the same, and that excites rather than exhausts you. Stay current: You follow B2B marketing and design trends, experiment with new tools, and bring fresh thinking. Bring energy: Your enthusiasm is infectious. You make things happen through sheer momentum and positivity. Own outcomes: You're commercially driven and measure success by impact, not just output. ----. Why join Isla’s marketing team?.
