Our client is a digital marketing agency specializing in social media services for mid-market businesses. They offer full-service campaign management, including social media strategy, digital recruiting, website development, and training workshops. Their approach focuses on helping businesses expand the impact of social media throughout their organizations, aiming to turn followers into brand advocates and enhance overall digital presence.. About the Role: . The Engagement Strategist is responsible for digital customer service, moderation, listening, and content publishing with the ultimate goal of community engagement, activation and developing brand advocates for our customers.. What You’ll Do. . Owns overall voice of assigned clients, which includes posts, replies, outreach, listening and other engagement opportunities. . Leads engagement strategy and identifies opportunities to create brand advocates. . Leads content publishing to ensure client expectations and brand vision are represented. . Predicts and shares insights on consumer sentiment, brand health and topics to improve performance and results. . Leverages social media management software to effectively tag and categorize engagements to provide clear results. . Enhances the content publishing process with ideas on how to automate, improve posting efficiency and effectiveness. . Leads strategy discussions with accuracy and confidence. . Serve as day-to-day contact for assigned clients, building trust and report while identifying areas of opportunity, highlighting best practices, and documenting them. . Facilitate interaction and workflow between pod team members, including third-party partners and software. . Identify opportunities to deploy a strong listening strategy. . Lead and develop influencer programs. . Research popular/trending hashtags for clients and implement monthly content on the appropriate platform.. . “Industry Immersion” – stay on top of all things trendy and important when it comes to consuming content and engaging audiences.. . Follow protocol to maximize efficiency, while also seeking innovative ways to add more value internally and externally.. . . Bachelor’s degree in a related field or solid street cred in the creative world.. . Preferred working knowledge of Sprout, HubSpot, and/or other publishing platforms. Knowledge of Teamwork Project a plus.. . 1-3 years’ experience managing content, from ideation to recommendation to execution to evaluation.. . 1-3 years of social listening experience, able to provide examples of real time feedback that made a difference to a client.. . Excellent grammar and spelling and can proof work independently.. . Has presented to a live (or virtual) audience with clarity and confidence.. . Excellent organization skills and can maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.. . Strong understanding of AI tools for content generation, with the ability to refine and optimize AI outputs.. .
