We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our small but high-impact privacy team as a Privacy & Compliance Analyst. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong interest in privacy, compliance, and emerging data regulations, and is eager to learn and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.. This is a foundational role that supports the day-to-day operations of Owlet’s privacy program, including monitoring compliance, managing requests, and helping implement processes across the business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that privacy practices are embedded throughout the organization. This role offers meaningful exposure to privacy operations in a growing consumer and medical device company and opportunities for professional development. . PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:. . Support the implementation and maintenance of privacy policies and procedures across the organization. . Assist in monitoring current evolving privacy laws, regulations, and best practices, and summarize relevant updates for internal stakeholders. . Support day-to-day privacy operations, including vendor risk assessments, compliance documentation (e.g., Records of Processing Activities, Privacy Impact Assessments), handling data subject rights requests, managing privacy complaints,  and supporting identification of privacy risks and remediations. . Help promote a culture of privacy awareness by supporting internal training and education initiatives. . Support vendor privacy reviews and maintain third-party compliance records. . Maintain internal records, including data inventories, incident logs, and audit documentation. . SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:. . Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. . Ability to understand technical architectures, system capabilities and explain data privacy requirements to various levels of data privacy knowledge. . Interest in privacy, data protection, or health care regulatory compliance (coursework or internships a plus). . Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. . Flexibility to change direction and manage conflicting demands.. . Outstanding organizational and data analytics skills.. . Ability to comfortably work multiple projects.. .
