Level Designer at ZeptoLab. We’re looking for a . Level Designer. to join our . New Games . team and help build smart, engaging puzzle experiences from the ground up. This role is very hands-on and best suited for someone who . loves puzzles. , understands difficulty curves, and enjoys owning both the content and the tools behind it.. Experience with hybrid-casual puzzle games is essential for this role.. What you’ll be doing. Designing and implementing new levels using a level editor. Owning and shaping the difficulty curve across levels and progression. Actively working with game programmers on how the level editor should function. Taking ownership of the level editor tool from a design perspective. Collaborating closely with the Product Owner and Game Designer. Designing lots of puzzles!. Working across multiple new projects at the same time, from early concepts to testing. What we’re looking for. Proven experience as a Level Designer on puzzle games. Strong understanding of sorting puzzle mechanics and how to design levels around them. Solid grasp of difficulty balancing and player progression. Experience working with level editors (Unity is a plus). High level of independence and autonomy. Comfort and willingness for owning decisions and pushing ideas forward. Good English communication skills for day-to-day collaboration. Why this role is interesting. A lot of autonomy and creative freedom.
