As an Engineering Manager - Transmission, you will:. . Manage a team of power system engineers performing transmission studies and related projects.. . Oversee project execution to ensure quality, schedule adherence, and budget compliance.. . Interact with clients to understand project scope, address concerns, and maintain strong relationships.. . Direct technical analyses, including steady state, transient stability, short circuit, and EMT studies.. . Lead development and review of transmission study methodologies, modeling efforts, and system upgrade recommendations.. . Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize team efficiency and deliverable quality.. . Support business development activities, including RFP responses and project scoping.. . Mentor and develop engineers within the team, fostering technical growth and collaboration.. . . Candidates should have:. . Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a focus on Power Systems; advanced degree preferred.. . Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electric energy industry, performing power system studies and design analyses.. . Proficiency with industry-standard software such as PSS/E, PSLF, PowerWorld, TARA, ASPEN, CAPE, or PSCAD.. . Experience managing a team of 2–10 engineers, with demonstrated leadership and project management skills.. . Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.. . Ability to balance technical responsibilities with team development, client engagement, and process improvement.. . Preferred:. .
