Accountabilities. ·         Architect, design, and develop robust and scalable backend services using Java Spring Boot and related technologies.. ·         Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams during inceptions and iteration planning, providing technical insight and shaping backlogs.. ·         Lead and actively participate in daily standups, retrospectives, technical reviews, and performance improvement sessions.. ·         Design and implement REST APIs, establish CI/CD pipelines, and ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of applications in production environments.. ·         Provide mentorship to team members, promote test-driven development, and ensure adherence to coding and security standards.. ·         Partner across product portfolios to align on technical strategies and share knowledge on multiple technology stacks and business domains.. ·         Support and troubleshoot software products in user environments to maintain reliability and performance.. . ·         3 to 6 years of hands-on experience developing large-scale distributed systems and microservices for the cloud.. ·         Strong expertise in building REST APIs with Java Spring Boot, including documentation tools (Swagger, REST-docs, OpenAPI), versioning, testing, and service discovery.. ·         Experience with API security standards (OAuth, OpenID, OWASP, SAML) and implementing authentication/authorization mechanisms.. ·         Proficiency in backend development, databases (MongoDB, caching systems), Kafka messaging, and version control (Git).. ·         Familiarity with build and packaging systems (Maven, Gradle, npm), artifact management (Artifactory), and CI tools (Jenkins or similar).. ·         Experience with automated testing, unit testing, and test-driven development; working knowledge of Python for automation testing is a plus.. ·         Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, communication, and the ability to thrive in an Agile or paired programming environment.. ·         Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field..
