Remote; regular virtual meetings with staff and accounting partners across U.S. and global time zones. Some limited travel may be required (team retreats, audits, conferences).. The Grants and Finance Coordinator will manage all day-to-day financial operations at Cure HHT, with a primary focus on federal and industry grant accounting and operational finance. This role owns the financial lifecycles for the HRSA grant, the Pazopanib grant, research and clinical trial partnerships, and the organization's core operating finances -- ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency. . The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and skilled at collaborating with staff, vendors, sub-awardees, and external accounting partners..  . Reports To. Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) with close partnership with Cure HHT’s external accounting firm..  . Key Responsibilities. Responsible for managing the financial lifecycles of federal and industry grants and operational finances, including gift entry and monthly reconciliation, ensuring compliance with funder requirements, alignment with organizational budgets, and transparent reporting to leadership.. Grants Finance . . . Budget Management: . Create, monitor, and reconcile grant budgets; track expenditures against budget-to-actuals; prepare updates for leadership and funders.. . . Subaward & Contract Oversight: . Develop, negotiate, and execute subaward agreements; ensure compliance with OMB Uniform Guidance and federal cost principles; monitor subrecipient reporting and performance.. . . Compliance & Reporting: . Prepare and submit required financial reports; maintain accurate documentation; execute federal draw requests through PMS.. . . Invoice Processing & Reconciliation: . Manage invoice intake, coding approvals, and payment workflows in Bill.com; maintain synchronized trackers; align invoices, indirect/fringe, and cumulative totals with agreement terms.. . . Month-End Close: . Coordinate grant-related reconciliations with accounting and program staff, including unpaid invoices, finance reports, credit card summaries, and monthly statements; prepare support for drawdowns and confirmations.. .  . Operations Finance. . Weekly electronic gift entry, including online credit card giving, employee giving programs, wire transfers, donor-advised funds, and other gifts.. . Process AP/AR, vendor onboarding, and expense reimbursements with accurate coding and documentation.. . Support monthly close activities, account reconciliations, and preparation of management reports.. . Assist with annual budget development, audit requests, and financial policy updates.. . Collaborate with Development staff on grant proposal budgets and reporting needs.. . Systems & Tools. . Bill.com, Sage Intacct. . Nexonia (or similar). . Excel/Google Sheets. . Familiarity with federal drawdown systems (e.g., PMS/PIEE) and CRM integration (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus. .  . Qualifications. . 3+ years of accounting, grants finance (federal grants experience strongly preferred), or nonprofit financial operations experience.. . Knowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance, GAAP, and nonprofit finance best practices.. . Working knowledge of AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close.. . High proficiency in spreadsheets and financial trackers.. . Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through; ability to manage multiple deadlines.. . Clear written and verbal communication, with a service mindset toward internal and external partners.. . Mission alignment and discretion handling sensitive financial information.. .  .
