We are currently looking for a Network Virtualization Engineer in the United States.. We are seeking a skilled Network Virtualization Engineer to support the design, deployment, and maintenance of advanced virtualized network environments. In this role, you will work on mission-critical projects, performing network installations, troubleshooting, and system upgrades across multiple operational sites. You will collaborate with agile teams to plan and execute deployments, ensuring performance, security, and reliability. This position requires strong hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, data center operations, and network infrastructure, along with the ability to communicate technical details effectively to stakeholders. Travel to remote locations may be required, and you will play a key role in ensuring that deployed solutions meet operational and compliance standards.. . Accountabilities. . Plan, deploy, integrate, and test network upgrades and virtualized environments across operational sites.. . Collaborate with agile teams to deliver projects according to customer requirements and contractual obligations.. . Lead on-site installations, perform troubleshooting, and provide status updates to program personnel.. . Develop and implement virtualization templates and automated deployment processes.. . Ensure high availability and performance of network and storage systems, including VMware, NetApp NAS/SAN, and Windows/Redhat servers.. . Maintain compliance with security standards, including STIG and DoD requirements.. . Create technical documentation and visual diagrams using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio.. . . . Active Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred) and US citizenship required.. . Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience or advanced degree with 3 years of experience in network virtualization or related fields.. . VMware expertise, including vCenter, ESXi, and vSphere, as well as virtualization troubleshooting and performance tuning.. . Experience with data center technologies, storage systems (NAS/SAN), and Windows/Redhat servers.. . Knowledge of OSI model, TCP/IP, routing protocols, network traffic analysis, and diagnostic methodologies.. . IAT Level II Certification; VMware certifications (VCTA, VCP, VCAP, VCDX) preferred.. . Experience applying Agile methodologies within engineering or technical teams.. . Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.. .
