The Senior Physical Engineer will oversee project execution from design through delivery, ensuring technical accuracy, quality, and adherence to client requirements. This position combines hands-on engineering, team leadership, and client interaction in a collaborative and supportive environment. You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the development of technical guidelines and standards while maintaining a strong focus on safety, code compliance, and industry best practices.. Accountabilities:. The Senior Physical Engineer will be responsible for:. . Leading projects as a Phase Manager, managing scope, budget, task delegation, and client interactions while ensuring technical quality.. . Performing QA/QC work by reviewing the designs of engineers, drafters, and designers for accuracy and compliance.. . Mentoring and training junior engineers in physical design of electrical substations and BESS facilities.. . Collaborating with technical directors and team leads on multidisciplinary projects.. . Preparing detailed designs, calculations, models, and documentation including layouts, equipment specifications, grounding plans, and conduit plans.. . Managing project deliverables and deadlines, ensuring alignment with internal QA/QC standards and client requirements.. . Performing occasional field inspections and construction supervision as needed.. . Candidates should have the following qualifications and skills:. . Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.. . 5+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.. . FE or PE licensure preferred.. . Proficiency with AutoCAD, MathCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.. . Strong written and oral communication skills and effective interpersonal abilities.. .
