Financial Accountant - Work from Home at Twoconnect. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical accounting skills, a passion for process improvement, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. You will play a key role in month-end processes, statutory reporting, payroll support, and general finance operations.. Month-End Tasks. . Manage key asset and liability accounts (e.g., bank & cash, prepayments, fixed assets, creditors, accruals).. . Prepare journal entries and perform reconciliations.. . Own various month-end processes and GL account reconciliations.. . Identify and resolve reconciliation variances promptly.. . Assist in expense analysis for management reporting.. . Support the financial integrity of general ledgers.. . Provide ad-hoc support to the Finance function.. . Statutory Reporting. . Assist with year-end and half-year audits for NASDAQ and ASIC compliance.. . Support quarterly reporting requirements under NASDAQ listing.. . Payroll. . Assist with fortnightly payroll tasks (Australia and US).. . Take ownership of payroll processing during Payroll Administrator’s leave.. . General. . Proactively identify opportunities for value creation and process improvement.. . Comply with Work Health and Safety policies and procedures.. . . 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in a dynamic environment.. . Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce; CPA/CA qualification or currently pursuing one.. . Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level).. . Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software; NetSuite and Power BI are a plus.. . Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.. .
