Your future tasks will include. Leading the design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks and suites.. Ensuring automation coverage across UI, API, and integration layers.. Collaborating with developers to ensure coverage on service, component layers.. Collaborating with developers, QAs, and DevOps to embed test automation in CI/CD pipelines.. Reviewing test strategies and mentoring team members on automation best practices.. Analyzing test results, identifying bottlenecks, and driving continuous improvements in QA processes.. Taking ownership of automation architecture decisions and influencing the overall quality strategy.. You’re going to need this to be successful in this role. Solid programming skills (e.g., Javascript/TS, Python, Java, or C#) for automation development.. Proven experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Appium, REST-assured).. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test design, and QA best practices.. Hands-on experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., BitBucket, GitHub Actions, Jenkins etc).. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).. Ability to design scalable test strategies for complex systems (microservices, distributed apps, or multi-platform products).. Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented and quality-first mindset.. Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence and mentor.. It’s nice if you also have. Experience with performance, security, or reliability testing.. Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Sentry, Kibana).. Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and testing strategies (AWS, GCP, Azure).. Contribution to open-source testing tools or frameworks..
