
Bookkeeper - Construction (with Estimating Knowledge) at Remote VA. We are looking for Bookkeeper who will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting, job costing, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll. A solid understanding of construction estimating is required to support budgeting and cost control efforts on projects.. Key Responsibilities. . Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) . . Perform job costing and track expenses by project . . Process accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and vendor payments . . Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements . . Prepare financial reports, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheets . . Assist with estimating by reviewing plans, material take-offs, and subcontractor bids . . Support project managers with budget tracking and cost-to-complete analysis . .
