This role offers the opportunity to join a high-performing data and analytics team responsible for building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure data infrastructure. As a Data Engineer II, you will design and implement data pipelines, ensure data quality, and enable analytics and business teams to make data-driven decisions. You will work closely with engineers, analysts, and product teams to create solutions that handle large-scale datasets while contributing to tooling and process improvements. Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines to support analytics and application needs.. . Ensure data quality, governance, and security at every stage of processing.. . Develop resilient, self-healing processes that minimize operational overhead.. . Collaborate with analysts and engineers to standardize transformation logic and optimize queries.. . Lead technical projects, creating design documents, reviewing code, and ensuring best practices.. . Implement tooling around data lineage, monitoring, and orchestration to improve efficiency.. . Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues, providing advanced support to internal teams.. . Contribute to decisions around architecture, tool selection, and coding standards.. . . 3+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.. . Strong programming skills in Python, including optimization and best practices.. . Advanced SQL skills with experience in CTEs, window functions, and query optimization.. . Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, GCS or Azure acceptable).. . Familiarity with APIs for data retrieval, authentication, filtering, and pagination.. . Experience with data orchestration and scheduling tools, either traditional or DAG-based.. . Comfort working with multi-terabyte cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred; Redshift or BigQuery acceptable).. . Experience with relational databases (Postgres preferred).. . Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.. . Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to work independently.. . Preferred:. . Experience with web analytics, user behavior tracking, and funnel analysis.. . Familiarity with dbt, event tracking systems (Snowplow, NewRelic), and BI tools (Looker, Domo, PowerBI).. .
