In this role, you'll be responsible for the below:. . Design, develop, and maintain advanced software supporting the work of translators (primarily connectors between XTM and external systems). . Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the codebase. . Write unit tests and integration tests to validate the functionality. . Collaborate within a SCRUM team managed by Engineer Manager & PO. . Document codebase, APIs, and integration processes for future reference. . Communicate effectively within SCRUM team to discuss requirements, share progress, and resolve issues. . Collaborate with DevOps, Customer Support and other cross-functional teams. . Provide support to existing and prospective customers of XTM. . Experience:. . Degree in Information Technology. . Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Java development. . Experience with developing enterprise-level applications or integrations. . Previous experience working with CMS systems and/or translation management systems is a plus. . Technical Skills:. . Proficiency in Java programming language and Spring Framework. - Hibernate, JDBC. . Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. . Proficiency in RESTful APIs and web services development. - Experience with SOAP. . Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data manipulation. - Experience with PostgreSQL is a must. - Experience with MongoDB is nice to have. . Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. . Knowledge of XML. . General Skills:. . English skills to be able to read technical documentation and communicate. . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. . Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality code. . Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. . Agile or Scrum methodologies are preferred. . Nice to have:. . Experience with WebSockets. . Experience with Javascript/Typescript & React. . Experience with Docker & CI/CD tools. .
