Account Executive, Advertiser Growth at Thanks. The future of advertising is beautiful.. Thanks (thanks.co) is seeking an Account Executive to join our global team and play a key sales role in expanding our US advertiser base with new, exciting logos. You'll collaborate with our sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to execute our vision of creating the only ad network where everyone wins.. You'll own the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing - building pipeline from scratch, conducting discovery calls and demos, and converting prospects into Thanks advertisers. Working as part of a high-calibre partnerships team, you'll be bringing new brands into the Thanks ecosystem, with particular focus on growing our portfolio of mid-market advertisers, while contributing to our evolving segmentation strategy.. Our ideal candidate is a resourceful, tenacious seller with experience in tech and exposure to startups. You'll be a natural relationship builder and networker who is creative, adaptable, and isn't afraid to wear multiple hats.. What you'll do. . Full-Cycle Sales Ownership: Manage the complete advertiser sales process from initial prospecting through contract signing - including discovery calls, platform demos, objection handling, and closing.. . Strategic Prospecting: Build pipeline from scratch through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship building - thinking like a true hunter rather than relying solely on inbound leads.. . Platform Demonstrations: Lead initial product demos for prospective advertisers, walking them through Thanks' platform capabilities and value proposition.. . Discovery & Consultation: Conduct thorough discovery calls to understand customer demographics, targeting needs, and business objectives - then collaborate with leadership on objection handling and competitive positioning.. . Process Development: Provide feedback on sales processes, technology stack, and go-to-market strategies as we iterate and improve our approach as we scale rapidly.. . Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing on lead generation strategies and attend industry conferences to expand network and generate new business opportunities.. . What we're looking for. . 3+ years of sales experience in tech / SaaS, with proven ability to manage full sales cycles and achieve targets.. . Strong prospecting skills and a hunter mentality - able to build pipeline proactively, rather than relying solely on inbound leads.. . Experience in a fast-growing startup or scaleup business - where you’ve sold the unknown.. . Excellent communicator with strong presentation, networking, and relationship-building skills.. . Adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity, with a desire to help bring structure to evolving systems and processes.. . Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills, crucial for managing a book of business while working remotely.. . Creative problem solver with a team-first attitude and a collaborative approach to sharing ideas.. . Proficiency with our CRM software HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other sales outreach tools.. . Nice to have. . Understanding of affiliate networks (e.g. CJ, Impact, Rakuten, Awin).. .
