National Accounts Manager (Remote - Indiana) at Jobgether. This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of GVW Group. We are currently looking for a National Accounts Manager in Indiana (USA).. In this role, you will join a dynamic sales organization focused on driving growth at the national fleet level, with a particular emphasis on Port and Intermodal operators. You will leverage your industry knowledge and established relationships to develop tailored account strategies, expand partnerships, and win new business. Acting as a trusted advisor to key decision-makers, you will balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring that sales targets are consistently met or exceeded. This position requires a proactive, results-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys traveling to engage directly with clients.. Accountabilities. ·         Develop and implement account-level strategies for national Port and Intermodal fleet operators.. ·         Independently manage all sales activities for assigned accounts, from prospecting to closing.. ·         Forecast order volumes, sales quotas, and revenue projections to meet growth targets.. ·         Cultivate and expand relationships with existing customers while driving penetration into new accounts.. ·         Act as the primary point of contact for national accounts, ensuring excellent service and responsiveness.. ·         Regularly travel (approx. 75%) to customer sites and industry events to strengthen client relationships and explore new opportunities.. ·         Proven track record in national account sales, preferably in the trucking, transportation, or capital equipment sector.. ·         Strong background and network within the Port and Intermodal (container handling) segment is highly preferred.. ·         At least 5 years of business development or “hunter” sales experience with national accounts.. ·         Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed sales quotas and deliver measurable growth.. ·         Skilled in building pipelines, managing complex negotiations, and closing large-scale deals.. ·         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).. ·         Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.. ·         Willingness and ability to travel nationally up to 75%; proximity to a major airport is advantageous..
